Fontarèche is one of the great historic wine estates of Languedoc. 125 hectares of classified vines, half under the Corbières DOP and half Vin de Pays. Fontarèche is home to no fewer than 17 grape varieties, with the mainstay of the reds being Carignan. Piquepoul Noir is a rarity which is very beneficial to the blend of Corbières Red and Rosé.
