Château Peynaud Bagnac began its wine production in 1830 with the Payet Fellet family, cultivating 11 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In 1935, Mr. Payet Fellet (the third generation of the family) decided, along with four other winegrowers, to create and build the Monségur cooperative winery. Since then, generations have succeeded one another; the twins Jacques and Philippe tended the 46 hectares of vines until 2022 and are now gradually passing the torch to their son-in-law Pierrick.
