It all started with a very pretty plot planted with Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris grapes. Every year, we reluctantly blend it with the other Sauvignons on the estate. And in 2024: the must was magnificent and pure, but there wasn't enough volume to attempt fermentation on its own. So we topped it up with a Petit Manseng juice ‘that happened to be passing by’. As the fermentation progressed, our charmed palates brought big smiles to our faces.
