Château Valandraud is the result of the remarkable dedication and vision of Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud. Its name carries both geographical (“Val” refers to the Fongaban valley), and emotional significance (“Andraud” is Murielle’s family name).
In 2012, Château Valandraud was officially elevated to the prestigious rank of Premier Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Émilion classification, a recognition of its exceptional quality and singular character.
