Château Cazeau, built around a 16th-century chartreuse in Gornac, spans 300 ha of south-facing clay-limestone hillsides. The Crémant Rosé, mainly Merlot, shows a salmon hue, fresh fruit and strawberry notes with a round, supple finish and generous bubbles. Perfect as an aperitif or with lightly spiced dishes or fruit-based desserts, served at 8°C.
