In the heart of Bourgueil, Domaine des Mailloches (16 ha) grows Cabernet Franc on sandy soils. From young vines, this wine undergoes 2–3 weeks of maceration with pump-overs and rack-and-returns, followed by tank aging.
Bright ruby color, fruity nose with cherry and raspberry notes, supple and fresh on the palate.
Best served at 15–16 °C, with 3–4 years of cellaring potential.
